By popular demand: A link to the EDB Annual Meeting keynote speaker’s presentation

Dr. Ali Modarres, director of the Urban Studies Program at the University of Washington Tacoma, sure got people talking earlier this month after he addressed more than 500 business, government and community leaders at the EDB’s annual meeting.

His keynote presentation, “Rethinking the South Puget Sound Region: Trends and Prospects,” prompted dozens of calls and emails to the EDB in search of the information.

Dr. Modarres has posted his presentation online, edited so that it can be understood without a speaker interpreting some of the slides. Click here to go to the Urban Studies Department’s Community Resources page, where the presentation can be found.
